Nathan Vanspringel selected for Ford Performance Junior Driver Program

Charlotte (USA), January 31, 2025 – With his talent and determination, Ironwood driver Nathan Vanspringel has once again proven himself as one of the brightest young prospects in motorsport. This season, he joins the Ford Performance Junior Driver Program and will return to compete in the GT4 European Series. The first race will take place in April at the legendary Circuit Paul Ricard in France.

One of six Junior Drivers

Everyone needs a starting point. For Nathan Vanspringel, that journey began with a passion for motorsport and a relentless drive to succeed. Thanks to his talent and perseverance, he has stood out and been selected as one of just six drivers in the prestigious Ford Performance Driver Development Program.

Within this program, young talents are given the opportunity not only to prove their speed on the track but also to grow into complete racing drivers. In addition to intensive training and competition, they receive mentorship from renowned figures such as Mike Rockenfeller in North America and Andy Priaulx in Europe. These seasoned drivers share their expertise on racecraft, working with engineers, and handling the pressure of elite-level racing.

The Ford Mustang as a Springboard

What makes this program unique is the consistent development pathway built around a single platform: the Ford Mustang. From entry-level racing in the Mustang Cup to the professional Mustang Challenge, and then on to international GT4 and GT3 competitions – including the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans – Ford Performance offers a progression unmatched by any other manufacturer.
